hello my wonderful wonderful 4th graders let me start by saying I miss you I wish we were at school but we can't be with my stay at school until I see you again so with that being said if you were at school we would have been reading the night before Christmas so I am going to read it to you now so this is Story by Jan Brett and the illustration is beautiful I will be reading it to you and hoping you have a good Christmas here we go Twas the Night Before Christmas when I'll be the house not a creature was stirring even a mouse the stockings were hung by the chimney with care it helps that st. Nicholas would soon be there the children were nestled all snug in their bed danced in their heads and Mama with her kerchief and me and my cap had just settled down for it when out of the lawn there arose such a clatter I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter away to the window I flew like a flash open the show where's and threw out the trash the moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow gave her Leicester in the midday to the objects Bi-Lo when what to my wondering eyes should have but have Miniatures fight and eight tiny reindeer with the little old driver so Lively and quick I knew that moment that it must be more Eagle his car so they came and he whistled and shouted and called them by name now Dasher know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen on come on Cupid on Dunder and Blitzen to the top of the porch to the top of the wall now dash away, Dash away Dash away all when they meet with an obstacle net with an obstacle mount to the sky show up to the house. The cursor they flew with a sleigh full of choice and statement was to and then in a twinkling I heard on the roof the Prancing and the crying of the end of each little as I drew it in my head as I was turning on down the chimney State Nicholas came up bound he was dressed all in fur from his head to his toe and his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and a bundle of toys he had fun on his back and he looks like a peddler just opening his pack his eyes have a twinkle in dimples how merry we're like roses his nose was like a cherry is drool little mouth was drawn like a bow the beard on his chin was as white as the snow the stump of the pipe he held it tied his teeth and his the smoke the encircled his head like a wreath he had a broad face and a little round belly That Shook like a bowl full of jelly he was chubby and plump and right Jolly Old elf and I laughed when I saw him in spite of myself a wing but his eyes and a Twist of his head soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread he smoked he spoke not a word but went straight to his work and fill the stockings he trained with a jerk he sprang to his way to his team gave a whistle in a way they feel like a gun on a Bissell but I heard him exclaim he drove out of sight all and to all a good-night because I hope you enjoyed this I hope you have a Merry Christmas I miss you and stay safe love you guys bye
